FPS Grant (FEMA Fire Prevention & Safety Grant)

The FEMA Fire Prevention & Safety Grant program can provide money to your department or agency to enhance your fire safety program with new, hands-on training equipment. Hundreds of fire departments and other non-profit organizations across the country have successfully received funding to purchase our portable live-fire and digital extinguisher training systems as well as our Fire Safety Trailers.

BullEx fire training products make a great addition to your fire prevention education program for many reasons. Our products target the highest-risk groups in your industry. BullEx training tools are all hands-on, allowing your training audience to better retain the important fire safety lessons.  Additionally, BullEx fire training tools are designed to be highly cost effective in operation, which is critical for fire safety organizations that need to create a sustainable fire prevention education program.

AFG Grant (FEMA Assistance to Firefighter Grant)

The FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) can provide money to your department to ramp up your firefighter training program with new, hands-on training equipment. In fact, it’s a priority. As stated in FEMA’s FY 2012 Guidance and Application Kit, Section 1, “FEMA has determined the most benefit is derived from instructor-led training that is hands-on and leads to a national or state certification. Therefore, applications focused on national or state certification, including train-the-trainer initiatives, receive a higher competitive rating.”

A number of BullEx training tools are eligible for purchase using this grant money. These products include, but are not limited to, Smoke Generators, SmartDummy™ Rescue Manikins, FlashFire™ Training Systems, Advanced Live Fire Training Systems, and HazMat Training Tools.
