HOW IT WORKS

FlashFire is designed to represent a typical residential structure on a 12:1 scale with a door, roof vents and interior props. Choose from pre-programmed scenarios for quick and accurate training demonstrations, or manually control the fuel supply, timer, ignition sources, door and roof vents for customized scenarios.

  • Select propane fuel to demonstrate the combustible gasses released during incomplete combustion or use actual combustible materials
  • Select the electronic ignition to simulate appliances or choose a hot-point source to represent the seat of a fire
  • Adjust fuel load and available air to create a range of explosive conditions
  • Set the time to indicate how long an average size residence would need to reach a certain gas concentration
  • Select whether to conduct the demonstration in real or accelerated time – as time counts-down and the level of fuel builds, the display indicates the % of LEL reached

With the FlashFire Training System, set-up time is minimal and demonstrations are highly repeatable. FlashFire includes all the tools necessary to start your training, including a stove prop, hand-held controller and integrated smoke generator. Add additional props to add realism and opportunities to your curriculum.

Add the optional Combustion Tray to heat combustible materials to their auto-ignition point to demonstrate what happens in a flashover.
