BullEx Digital Fire Technology provides comprehensive hands-on training using realistic, self-generating digital flames that respond directly to the trainee’s actions. Our digital fire installations are tough enough to be hit with anything in a firefighter’s arsenal, including a hose line. Challenge your trainees to fight digital flames for realistic and intense hands-on training.

Many fire departments have come to us with challenges that prevented them from conducting live-fire training. They have out of date burn towers or acquired structures that don’t comply with environmental, state, local and national regulations. Digital Fire Technology allows instructors to give their trainees realistic hands-on training when or where live-fire isn’t possible. This is a great solution for areas where live burns are no longer feasible, or as a way to acclimate new firefighters to fiery environments or reinforce skills with veteran firefighters in a safe environment.

HOW IT WORKS

BullEx Digital Fire Technology uses LED fire panels to recreate true to life flame patterns and interact with a hose line for effective training. The panels feature thermal sensors that detect the application of a hose line and vary the digital flames in response. The system also features sound effects and available smoke generation that react dynamically to the trainee’s actions for a true-to-life experience. Corrosion-resistant construction and a reinforced interface provide a versatile system that is rugged enough to withstand the most intense firefighter training.

To extinguish the digital flames, trainees must use the proper technique. If a trainee fails to use proper hose line advancement and stream management techniques, the flames will grow in response. Flames can diminish, grow gradually or reignite at the touch of a button. Because every fire situation is different, digital fire technology allows you to create drills in nearly any environment.

Our Steam Conversion Technology™ recreates the low visibility conditions present when water is first applied to an actual fire. Smoke output is tied to the size of the fire and the time since ignition, and sound effects add to the realism of the evolution.
