VIDEO: Turn of River Fire Department To Visit Every Community School

Thanks to a $100,000 grant from FEMA, the Turn of River Fire Department recently took delivery of a 27’ BullEx Fire Safety Trailer. Now, they’re busy working on their goal to bring the trailer to every school in their community of Stamford, CT by the end of the year.

Their Fire Safety Trailer includes both Kitchen and Bedroom emergency scenarios with many fire safety training opportunities. Their trailer is also equipped with a severe weather package, which comes with everything needed to educate children and adults about what to do in a hurricane, tornado, flood, or earthquake emergency situation.

For scenes from inside their trailer and reactions from Assistant Chief Maounis and Principal Torchen of Holy Spirit School, watch the video above.
